Welcome!

I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Reading.  This is my 21st year teaching here in Quinlan ISD.  I spent my first 3 years at D.C. Cannon as a Reading Specialist before moving to First Grade, which I taught for 14 years.  I have had the privilege of teaching gifted students for 13 years now, 9 years in First Grade, and this will be my 4th year in the K-5 Elementary Gifted and Talented Pull-Out Program at D.C. Cannon and A.E. Butler.  Teaching is my passion, and I absolutely LOVE what I do!
