Welcome!

I'm so excited to be starting my first year here at Cannon, though I'm certainly not new to education – this marks my 18th year in the field! My background is primarily in early childhood, having taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's in Elementary Education, and I earned my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education.

Outside of school, I'm a wife and mom to four children, plus a wonderful daughter-in-law. We live on a ranch with quite a few animals, and in my free time, you'll often find me gardening, reading, or enjoying a good cup of coffee.
