I am a proud Hurricane Katrina transplant originally from New Orleans, and for the past 18 years, I’ve dedicated my career to education with a deep passion for helping students grow and succeed. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Technology and currently serve as the Assistant Principal at Cannon Elementary. My journey has been shaped by resilience, compassion, and a drive to make a difference in the lives of children—but I would not be here without the unwavering support of my husband of 20 years. He has been my steady foundation, encouraging me through every late night, leadership challenge, and step toward becoming an administrator. His belief in me and our shared commitment to family and service have been a vital part of this journey.
I believe in building strong relationships, creating a safe and inclusive environment, and being a true advocate for every student I serve.
Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids who keep me grounded and inspired. Our home is full of love and a little bit of joyful chaos, thanks to our English bulldog, Brutus, and the newest addition to the family—a playful baby kitten. Together, we value faith, perseverance, and serving others.
I’m excited to bring my heart, experience, and energy to Quinlan ISD. I look forward to loving on our kids, supporting their growth, and working alongside the community to ensure every student feels valued, empowered, and seen.
