I am a proud Hurricane Katrina transplant originally from New Orleans, and for the past 18 years, I’ve dedicated my career to education with a deep passion for helping students grow and succeed. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Technology and currently serve as the Assistant Principal at Cannon Elementary. My journey has been shaped by resilience, compassion, and a drive to make a difference in the lives of children. I believe in building strong relationships, creating a safe and inclusive environment, and being a true advocate for every student I serve.
Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids who keep me grounded and inspired. Our home is full of love and a little bit of chaos, thanks to our English bulldog, Brutus, and the newest addition to the family—a playful baby kitten. I’m excited to bring my heart, experience, and energy to Quinlan ISD, and I look forward to loving on our kids, supporting their growth, and working alongside the community to ensure every student feels valued and empowered.
