Mrs.Brooks First Grade

Hi everyone! My name is Megan Brooks, and I am so excited for another wonderful year in education. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and this marks my 8th year doing what I love most.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching Kindergarten, as well as 2nd and 3rd grade ELAR. Building strong readers and confident learners is my passion, and I strive to make our classroom a supportive, engaging place to grow every single day.

7:30-8:15: Arrival, Restroom Break and Morning Work

8:15-9:00: Specials 

9:00-10:00: Math

10:00-12:00: Reading Rotations

12:05-12:35: Lunch

12:40-1:10: Math

1:10-1:30: Recess

1:30-2:00: Science/Social Studies

2:00-4:00: Reading, Foundations and Writing
