About me:

Hello!  My name is Cathy Garner.  I am beginning my 34th year of teaching.  This is my ninth year of teaching for QISD, and I am so glad to be here.  I am a Reading Intervention teacher for grades K-2.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education/Regular Education and a Master's Degree in Reading. I previously taught Kindergarten, fifth, sixth, fourth, and second grades. I also taught Reading 350 at Texas A&M Commerce for ten years.

My goal is to instill the same love for reading in my students that I have.

8:15-10:00 - Kindergarten Rotations

10:00-12:00 - First Grade Rotations

12:00-12:30  - Lunch Duty

12:30-1:00 - Lunch

1:00-3:00 - Second Grade Rotations

3:00-3:45 -  Conference

3:45-4:00 - Testing/Scheduling/Team Meetings
