About me:

Hello!  My name is Cathy Garner.  I am beginning my 32nd year of teaching.  This is my seventh year of teaching for QISD, and I am so glad to be here.  I am a Reading Intervention teacher for grades K-2.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education/Regular Education and a Master's Degree in Reading. I previously taught Kindergarten, fifth, sixth, fourth, and second grades. I also taught Reading 350 at Texas A&M Commerce for ten years.

My goal is to instill the same love for reading in my students that I have.
